Our approach
How I work
Evidence-based methods, explained clearly and adapted to your life.
Cognitive-behavioural
We identify stressful thought patterns and practise new ways of handling difficult situations.
Mindfulness & relaxation
Breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation and mindfulness help you notice tension early and let it go.
Psychoeducation
Knowledge brings relief: I explain how anxiety, stress or depression develop and what is known to help.
Change rarely begins with a big leap – usually with an honest look at how you are doing right now.

About us
Psychology that listens and explains
I studied psychology in Vienna and then worked for many years in a psychosomatic hospital ward. Since 2017 I have been seeing clients in my own practice in Vienna's 7th district.
It matters to me that you understand what is going on inside you. That's why I explain findings in plain language and we plan every step together – at your pace.
I offer sessions in German, English and Spanish, and online if you prefer.
- Assessment covered with a referral
- Partial refund possible

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can't find your question? Feel free to give us a call.
What does a session cost and can I get a refund?
A 50-minute session costs €110. Depending on your public and supplementary insurance, part of it is refunded. With a doctor's referral, part of the fee for a clinical psychological assessment can also be refunded.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. As a clinical psychologist I am bound by law to confidentiality. I share nothing with your doctor, employer or family without your explicit consent.
What happens at the first appointment?
You tell me what brings you here – as much or as little as you like. I ask questions, explain the options and we decide together how to continue. There is no obligation.
Psychologist, psychotherapist or psychiatrist – who is right for me?
Clinical psychologists specialise in assessment and shorter, structured treatment. Psychotherapists often work with clients over a longer period. Psychiatrists are medical doctors and can prescribe medication. In the first session we work out what suits you – and I'll recommend colleagues if needed.
How long is the wait for an appointment?
Usually no more than two weeks for a first appointment. If you are in an acute crisis, please contact the Telefonseelsorge helpline (142) or emergency services (144) right away.
Are online sessions possible?
Yes, via an encrypted video platform. The first session and assessments take place in the practice; follow-up sessions can be online.
