About us
A place for topics people rarely talk about
Leaking urine, pain during sex or a tummy that doesn't come back together after birth – this affects far more women than you might think. And there is almost always something that can be done.
I'm a physiotherapist with further training in pelvic floor and pregnancy physiotherapy and have worked with women at every stage of life since 2015. In my practice in central St. Pölten we take our time, explain every step and only examine what you're comfortable with.
The practice is fully accessible, there's room for prams and your baby is very welcome to come along.

How it works
From first assessment to your goal
First phone call
You briefly tell us what it's about – we find an appointment and clarify whether you need a referral.
In-depth conversation
At the first appointment we take 60 minutes: for your story, your goals and all your questions.
Assessment with your consent
We explain every examination beforehand. You decide what happens – an internal examination is never a must.
Training for everyday life
You get simple exercises that fit in while breastfeeding, at the office or while brushing your teeth.
Patient reviews
What our patients say
„After my daughter was born I had a three-finger diastasis. With Theresa's programme my tummy closed step by step – and I can go jogging again.“
Julia F.Patient since 2024Review on Google
„In my seventh month I could hardly walk because of pubic symphysis pain. After just two appointments it was much better. Thank you for the calm and the sleeping tips!“
Marija K.Patient since 2025Review on DocFinder
„I thought leaking while running was just part of life after two kids. Wrong! After three months of training I'm symptom-free.“
Lisa T.Patient since 2023Review on Google
„Very sensitive and competent. I never felt uncomfortable and everything was explained beforehand. The only downside: parking in the city centre is scarce.“
Claudia R.Patient since 2024Review on DocFinder
„At 68 I didn't think pelvic floor training could still make such a difference. I feel confident enough to go hiking and to the thermal spa again.“
Renate G.Patient since 2023Review on Google
„The home visit in the weeks after birth was worth its weight in gold – with a newborn and a caesarean scar I couldn't have gone anywhere. Later my son was welcome at the practice.“

Frequently asked questions
Can't find your question? Feel free to give us a call.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
For a refund, yes – ideally with the diagnosis, e.g. "pelvic floor weakness after birth". Your gynaecologist or GP issues it. Without a referral you can come to me privately.
How much will my insurer refund?
Your insurer refunds part of its own standard rate. How much that is, and whether the referral must be approved first, depends on the insurer – I'll explain the steps at your first appointment.
Is an internal examination necessary?
No. It can help to assess the pelvic floor muscles more precisely, but it is always optional. A lot can also be assessed externally or with ultrasound.
How soon after birth can I come?
We're happy to show you first gentle exercises during the first weeks via a home visit. Most women come to the practice from week six to eight.
What should I bring?
Your referral, e-card, your maternity record (Mutter-Kind-Pass) or birth report if you have one, and comfortable clothes. We have a blanket and changing mat for your baby.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes, in the weeks after birth and if your mobility is limited we visit you within St. Pölten. For a refund the home visit must be stated on the referral.
What if I need to cancel at short notice?
Please cancel up to 24 hours in advance. If your baby is ill or the night was rough, we'll find a solution – we know what life with children is like.
