Enter your Place ID and your link and QR code will appear here.

Happy patients are glad to leave a review – as long as it’s easy. With a direct link and a QR code at reception, one scan takes them straight to your practice’s review form.

Why Google reviews matter so much for practices

When people search for a “GP near me”, the star rating and number of reviews often decide whom they call. Reviews are also an important signal for local search: practices with many recent reviews appear more often in the map results.

The catch: happy patients rarely think of leaving a review on their own. A QR code at reception or a link in the appointment confirmation reminds them at exactly the right moment.

How to find your Place ID

The Place ID is your practice’s unique identifier at Google. You can find it with Google’s free Place ID Finder: enter your practice name, select the listing and copy the ID shown. It usually starts with “ChIJ”.

With the Place ID, the tool creates a link that opens the review window directly – no detour via search.

Asking for reviews fairly

Ask all patients equally for an honest review. Rewards for reviews, reviews written by your team, or only approaching patients who are happy all breach Google’s policies and may also be a problem under professional rules.

Quick answers

Questions on this topic

Does the QR code ever expire?

No. The QR code contains the Google link with your Place ID directly. There is no redirect via our servers, so it works for as long as your Google Business Profile exists.

Do I need a Google Business Profile?

Yes. Patients can only review practices that have a profile on Google. If you don’t have one yet or don’t manage it, you can claim it from Google free of charge.

Where is the best place for the QR code?

Reception, the exit and the waiting room have proven to work well. You can also use the link in emails, appointment reminders and on invoices.
